London Tap Jam

What's it all about?

Improvised tap dance to a live jazz trio comes to the UK. Hosted by Junior Laniyan and featuring dancers from around the country dancing to a trio led by Dave Silk.
Anyone can join in. Just tell Melody what you want to dance to!

Renegade stage

A chance for every tap dancer to have a go at improvising. At 6.30pm, Annette Walker leads newcomers and the nervous in improvising exercises to prepare you for the challenge of a solo spot!

News

Thanks to everyone who supported our first night at Ronnie Scotts, and especially to those who helped christen our brand new oak dance floor! We had a fantastic night. We'll be sticking to the 4th Sunday from now on.

The next London Tap Jam is on 28th June at Ronnie's Bar, upstairs at Ronnie Scotts, 47 Frith Street, Soho W1D 4HT; doors open from 6pm

Regular intermediate/advanced rhythm tap classes with Junior Laniyan, 2pm Saturdays at Pineapple, Covent Garden.

Regular beginners rhythm tap classes with Junior Laniyan, 8.30pm Wednesdays at Pineapple, Covent Garden.
